That time my partner built me a TARDIS
First, there was a TARDIS cake from Paul’s mum, then there was the day I got home from work to find a TARDIS in my office doorway.
Paul presented me with a TARDIS key:
The detail is just…amazing.
Now need to walk through the TARDIS to get into my office. Here’s the view from my desk:
Every time I think about it I grin. My gorgeous Paul worked for about a month and a half building it in secret at his parent’s house (taking up their entire garage), and the result is epic and amazing and beautiful and fantastic 😉 and no, I won’t stop saying how wonderful he is. He built me a frikkin’ TARDIS!
Here’s Paul, hiding in his creation (he put latches & hinges on the windows, too).
We’ll be celebrating our 9th anniversary this Saturday (15th June). He is a wonder, the absolute love of my life. The inside walls of the TARDIS are white/blank; we’ll be filling it with photos from our travels around the world (throughout time/space).
He’s sent me photos from the construction phase. They built it, then brought it over to our house in parts and assembled it inside the office.

Paul’s dad positioning the phone box sign. Paul took up the entire garage/workshop for a fair while constructing the to scale (minus the bigger on the inside parts) TARDIS:
Paul!
K bai, we’re outta here.
Outstanding.
In the words of the 9th Doctor: “Fantastic!”
